Katsina State House of Assembly says it has resolved to meet with Governor Aminu Bello Masari and President Muhammadu Buhari over the “worsening insecurity in the state.”
Chairman of the House Committee on Information, Alhaji Ali Abu Al-Baba stated this while briefing newsmen on Tuesday in Katsina.
Al- baba said that the Assembly was worried over what he called “the rampant reports of banditry activities across the State.
The lawmaker said the current insecurity in the state is worrisome and unacceptable.
He pledged that the Assembly will meet with the Governor and President Muhammad Buhari to decide measures to take against the bandits.
“Something must urgently be done to check the activities of the bandits”
“We are also soliciting for the support and cooperation of all and sundry on crusade against the banditry” Al- baba said.
