Nigerian Author, Lawyer, Social media influencer and former Presidential Aide, Reno Omokri has again advised Nigerians to imbibe a lifestyle that promote their country.
Omokri, who gave the advice on his Facebook page while taking a Nigerian delicacy said “when you promote your culture, you also promote your worth as a Nigerian.”
“I feel very fulfilled today, as an Amala aficionado, and having spent years promoting this delicacy to an international audience, that my favourite dish finally made it to the Oxford English Dictionary as a word accepted into the English language.
“Let us keep promoting our culture. Bear authentic Nigerian cultural names, wear the bona fide clothes that your ancestors wore, speak your native language, and eat your delicious Nigerian foods. Speak proudly with your natural, attractive Nigerian accent,” he advised.
According to him, “when you promote your culture, you also promote your worth as a Nigerian. Because when people buy your culture, the next thing they do is buy your goods and services.”
“Do not be like a water lily, which has roots, but is not stable. Only your own culture can keep you grounded and rooted in this world!
“Let your lifestyle promote Nigeria,” he added.
