Report from Yorro Local Government Area of Taraba State, North East Nigeria says, Chairperson of the Council, Martina Anthony has, on Saturday, sworn-in 11 Special Advisers, 7 Supervisory Councilors and Chief of Staff to the Local Government.

Our Correspondent reports that the inauguration ceremony was held at the Local Government Secretariat.
Addressing the appointees, the Chairperson said, their appointment was based on merit and their services as well as loyalty to the party and charged them to “hit the ground running”.

“Your appointment is timely and I advise we should work as a team in piloting the affairs of this Local Government.
“Myself alone can not do it but, as we work in unity, as a team and forge together, I believe we will achieve a lot,” she told them.
Anthony, also warned the appointees against self-aggrandizement saying, “we are public servants and God is watching us, we should not abuse the power reposed on us.”
