The Director, Ummasab Foundation in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Hajiya Zainab has built a new Friday Mosque in Tofa Local Government Area of Kano, North-West Nigeria.
Our Correspondent reports that, the District Head of Tofa, Makaman Bichi, Alhaji Isyaku Umar Tofa, declared the newly constructed Mosque open on Friday.
Tofa thanked Almighty Allah, the Foundation and the Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero for giving him the opportunity to declare open the Friday Juma’at Mosque adding that the Mosque is part of development of Islam in the area.
“Always observe your Friday prayers in this Mosque and pray for peaceful co-existence among the people.
“I Commend you for your cooperation and support to Bichi Emirate Council in its effort to spread the teachings of Islam in his domain,” he said.
Imam of the new Friday Mosque, Malam Garba Mamuda reiterated their continued support and cooperation to Government policies and programs to achieve the set goal.
Meanwhile, residents of Zango Kaba in Yanoko Ward of Tofa Local Government Area, where the Mosque is constructed, have expressed happiness over the gesture and promised to use and maintain the Mosque.
