Report from Alo community in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, North Central Nigeria says, two individuals – Sheriff Salifu and a woman identified as Blessing Adama, have been found dead in a room on Friday morning.
Daily Post reports that, according to eyewitness accounts, the tragic discovery was made after the landlord of the deceased, Salisu Ibrahim, raised the alarm over the unusual silence and the fact that Salifu’s room remained locked long after sunrise.
Disturbed by the unusual development, Ibrahim reached out to the deceased’s brother and the police.
Upon forcibly gaining entry into the room, Sheriff’s brother met a disturbing sight—the bodies of Sheriff and Blessing Adama were discovered naked, lying side by side on the same bed.

The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP William Aya, confirmed the incident and noted that investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.
“The Divisional Police Officer in Ankpa detailed detectives to the scene where they saw the lifeless bodies of the deceased persons. Their photographs were taken before being moved to the Zonal Hospital in Ankpa, where they were confirmed dead,” Aya stated.
As of the time of filing this report, the circumstances surrounding their death remain unclear, and authorities are awaiting the outcome of a medical examination to provide further insight.
