A Kano based Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Bello Bala Usman, has reminded Muslim faithful that the grace or divine compassion of God is for all who seek His Kingdom.
Sheikh Usman, who is also the Chief Imam of Zaidu Bin Sabit Jumaat Mosque, Maikalwa, Nainawa, Kano, North West Nigeria, gave the reminder, on Friday, in a sermon he delivered before leading congratulation prayers.
He asked the worshipers to seek God through righteous deeds that will benefit them hereafter and advised them to do away with act of selfishness.

“God wants us. He forgives our trespass and opens ways for us to have His mercy.
“Those who are not ready to follow His path know they are not willing and those who are ready to follow His command equally know they are ready.
“God is the owner of mercy. He grants mercy to those who show true repentance.
“Is this not a good news for all who believe?” he asked.
Sheikh Usman further emphasised that the grace or mercy of God is for all except those who do not want.
“Do good and show love to others. Speak good words to people and put smile on the faces of those with troubled hearts.
“Don’t make the mistake to be carried away by pursuit of money and worldly things without God.
“God loves us more than we think. Seek Him always and submit to Him. There is death. Whatever worldly things you gather will not help you hereafter.
“It is unfortunate seeing people fighting over money, boasting upon boasting over what will rob them of the life hereafter,” he admonished.
Sheikh Usman expressed disgust over those who remain selfish and deprive others their rights saying their efforts are excercise in futility.
He said whoever is selfish has cut off themselves from God the creator of Heaven and Earth.
