In a renewed vigur in the fight against banditry, kidnapping and terrorism, Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has paid an operational visit to the Sub Sector 3 operation Fansan Yamma Base in Birnin Gwari Local Government area of kaduna State, North West Nigeria.
Our Correspondent reports that the visit was part of his on-the-spot assessment of the ongoing operations to “root out miscreants.”
The Minister charged the troops not to relent in restoring peace to the area.
The Sector 1 commander and General Officer commanding 1 DIV NA Major General Landers Saraso Briefed the Minister on the operational activities and strategies.
Interacting with troops at polewire, an Identified crossing point of the insurgents through zamfara, Niger and Katsina States the minister also charged the officers and Soldiers to take the fight to the criminals’s enclave and bring an end to their Nefarious activities.
The minister was also at the palace of the Emir of Birnin Gwari with the assurance of restoring peace to the area and other security troubled parts of the country.
