A police inspector who went missing last week in Lagos has been reportedly found dead.
The report says, the development has left the Festac Town community in shock.
The officer, identified as Inspector Bishop Clement, was discovered lifeless at Second Rainbow in Festac Town, several days after his wife raised an alarm over his sudden disappearance.
According to Starnews, Clement, who served with the Nigeria Police Force, was last seen on April 23, 2025, when he left home for work but never returned.
His worried wife reported the matter to the police after repeated attempts to reach him by phone failed.

Following the report, a police message was shared across Lagos divisions and formations, providing details about the missing officer and asking for help in locating him.
Despite efforts to trace his whereabouts, the search ended in tragedy when his body was found.
The internal police communication, signed by senior officers in Ikeja and Apapa, revealed that the wife of Inspector Clement contacted the authorities on April 23 around 3 p.m., stating that her husband had not come home since morning.
She also reported that his two mobile numbers were unreachable, prompting the police to circulate information widely in hopes of finding him.
Clement’s death has stirred sadness and concern among residents and police colleagues, who are now awaiting further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of his body.
Authorities have not yet shared details on the cause of death or whether foul play is suspected, but the matter remains under investigation.
