National Identity Management Commission says it has temporarily suspended its National Identity Number Verification service due to maintenance being executed by its service provider.
This was contained in a press statement on Saturday tagged, “NIMC NIN verification service temporarily unavailable.”
“The National Identity Management Commission wishes to inform the general public that its NIN Verification Service is temporarily unavailable due to the maintenance service being carried out by one of the commission’s network service providers,” it said.
Meanwhile, the Commission has apologized for any inconveniences this development might have caused its “esteem customers” and appealed to them to make use of the alternative Tokenisation verification platform adding that the verification and authentication service would be restored once the maintenance service is concluded.
