In continuation of the football tournament between security agencies and the public in Kano, the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) football team, this Sunday defeated the Al-Ahly football team of Gandun Albasa by three goals to two in a penalty shoot out.
The game has ended in a one all draw at the end of regulation time.
Our Correspondent reports that, the Al-Ahly football team scored first in tenth minute of the game through Ahmad Laushi while the NDLEA team equalized in the dying minutes of the game through Saddiq Skipper.
Addressing the two teams before the commencement of the match, the Secretary of Know Your Neighbor Community Development Initiative, organizers of the competition, Mustapha Habib Abbas, urged them to demonstrate the spirit of togetherness for the benefit of the public.
He said such cooperation is necessary for fostering mutual relationship between security agencies and the public.
Nigerian Kicker observed that with this victory, the NDLEA team will now await the winner of the match to be played on Monday the 9th between the Nigeria Immigration Football team and the team from the Public Complaints and Anti Corruption Commission, for the second semi finals slated for Saturday the 15th of February.
The first semi finals scheduled for Friday the 14th is between the National Security and Civil Defense Corp team and the selected team from Kundila and Daurawa quarters.
