Over 350 members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE, are currently in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State, South-South Nigeria for their 2024 annual conference.
The opening ceremony is attended by Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is represented by Minister of Information and national orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi.
Governor of Bayelsa state, Douye Diri is the Chief Host of the conference while Cross Rivers State Governor is represented by the State Commissioner for Information.
Other personalities at the conference are, Chairman/Editor-in-Chief of This day/Arise Media Group, Founder/Publisher of Vanguard media Group and former Governor of Ogun state, Chief Segun Osoba.
