Moved by his fan base in Nigeria, popular American singer Ne-Yo has declared his intentions to collaborate with Nigerian artistes placing Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems and Ckay at the front burner.
He made his intention known on Wednesday at a press conference with Flytime music.
Ne-Yo told the news conference that he was surprised to know that he has such a fan base in Lagos.
“I remember being pleasantly surprised the first time I came to Lagos, Nigeria. I genuinely had no idea that I had such an amazing fan base here,” he said.
He also talked about the Nigerian style of music, afrobeats, and his intention to embrace the genre.
Ne-Yo said he was just waiting on a phone call by the artistes.
“I don’t have anybody’s number for me to call. I am waiting for them to call me,” he said.
