The Nigerian Railway Corporation, (NRC) has warned the public against falling prey to fake ticking website.
The Corporation said, it has not introduced e-ticketing on the Lagos-Ibadan Train Service.
The NRC also warned intending passengers to be careful of falling for fraudsters.
Spokesperson for NRC, Mahmoud Yakubu, in a statement said, NRC is yet to commence selling Lagos/Ibadan train tickets online, adding that a fraudulent website had been allegedly developed by cyber criminals, to fraudulently deceive intending travellers.
It, therefore, advised intending rail travellers from Lagos to Ibadan to be wary of the fraudulent cyberspace criminals.
It added that NRC is working hard to introduce secured online ticketing on the Lagos, Ibadan, Warri to Itakpe train services travellers.
