Newly Appointed Managing Director of Kano State Housing Corporation, Abdullahi Rabi’u, has assumed office.
Addressing Staff and welwishers at the Corporation premises, Rabi’u thanked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Allah for choosing him to serve as the Chief Executive of the Corporation.
“I will commit myself totally to duty towards justifying the confidence reposed in me by the Governor.
“As someone who worked with the Corporation some years ago, I would put my wealth of experiences to bear towards achieving the set mandate.
“I solicit the support of the entire staff and I would not condone lateness and absenteeism in the organisation,” he warned
The new MD noted that the present Administration of Abba Kabiru Yusuf was ready to uplift the Standard of living of the people in all spheres of life.
He assured the staffers of his total commitment to their welfare, and thanked the management and rest of the staff for a warm reception they accorded him.
Earlier, the Director of Administration and General Services of the Corporation, Ahmad Abdullahi, commended the State Governor for appointing Abdullahi Rabi’u, as the new MD describing him as professional, who knows the full mandate of the Corporation, and assured him of the support of all and sundry.

Muhammad Dahir Idris says, the staff were excited to receive the new MD while others including an uncle to the new MD, who is a Veteran Journalist, Aminu Mahmud expressed optimism that the new MD would bring new innovations and strategies that will ensure an accelerated development in terms of provision of Housing in the State.
