“Corruption, Unjust, and exploitative gains in trade and other transactions are condemned in several different verses in the Holy Quran. Total engagement in them is the major cause of problem in the society.”
Nigerian Kicker Correspondent reports that these were part of the sermon delivered on Saturday by Dr. Kamis Yusuf who led the 2022 Eid-el-Kabir prayers at the Gidan Fiat open prayer ground at Naibawa, Kano.
The Imam said, the incessant quest for money has led to many crimes including killings without remorse adding that until the people change for Good and turn to God, Eldorado will be far.
“Don’t engage in corruption and don’t cheat your brother,” he advised.
He urged those who are killing people to stop the trend because “they will meet God and there shall be no end to their own pain.”
Dr. Yusuf observed that today most people have no respect for the Quran and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), adding that this was why people engage in all sorts of crimes.
