A Lecturer in the Department of Broadcast Journalism, NTA Television College, Jos, Plateau state, North Central Nigeria, Hajiya Ramatu Abdulsalam Agabi, is billed to be Turbaned as IYE EBULE meaning Sarauniyan Matan Igala of Plateau state.
She told Nigerian Kicker that a pre-summit and turbaning meeting had been held on 20th September, 2025 at the Jos NUJ Press Center where the turbaning ceremony was discussed.
“It was well added by family Igala women and men from different works of life.
“I give thanks to Almighty Allah for the successful outing and to all who came for the meeting,” she said.
According to her, the turbaning ceremony, which will be done during the Summit, has been slated for 22nd November, 2025.
The theme for the Summit is “To build a consensus among the Igala women on the plateau state and Nigeria at large.”

Cutting the tape before the meeting, preparatory to the up coming Igala women event, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Dr Esther Akubu prayed for the success of the event and the unity of Igala women on the Plateau and Nigeria in general.
Also, before the commencement of the meeting, there was breaking of colanut by His Royal Highness Alhaji Saeed Sadiq Mohammed, Onu Igala plateau state.
Speaking on the honour done to her as IYE EBULE by Igala people, Hajiya Ramatu said it makes her “the very first Igala female Chief in plateau state”.
“May Almighty Allah unite the Igala women in plateau state and Nigeria at large.
“May Almighty Allah bless me with good health strength and energy to carry on.
“It’s not an easy task but I am trusting in Him to make it easy, bestow me with wisdom and knowledge,” she prayed.
