NTA Television College, Jos, Plateau State, North Central Nigeria, on Saturday, held its 2024 Matriculation Ceremony at the premises of the College, located at Rayfield, in Jos metropolis.
Our Correspondent reports that the Matriculation Ceremony was for the new intake into the Degree Programme of the institution which is affiliated to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna State.
Addressing the matriculating students, the Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Prof. Kabiru Bala, represented by Prof. Shamsudeen Muhammed said, the goal of both NTA College and Ahmadu Bello University was to produce students with critical and creative mind.
“I advise you to shun social vices such as examination misconducts, cultism, drug abuse, indecent dressing and other anti-social behaviour,” the VC warned.
New Rector of NTA Television College, Jos, Pauline Suleiman said, the College has zero tolerance for social vices and advised the students to adhere to rules and regulations of the institution.
Suleiman, who has initiated several administrative policies to advance the course of the College since assuming duty in March this year, asked the students to use their knowledge wisely.
“Use your knowledge and skills wisely. Always uphold the highest stand of professionalism and integrity,” she advised.
Some of the Matriculating students, who spoke to Nigerian Kicker, expressed joy for being part of the students’ community of the College describing the institution as “one of the best in the country.”
