NTA Television College, Jos, Plateau State, North Central Nigeria, on Thursday organised matriculation ceremony for the in-coming Diploma students of the institution for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The matriculants are students of Television Journalism, Television Production and Television Engineering Departments.
Our Correspondents report that the ceremony, which took place at the College’s Auditorium, was attended by Heads of Department, staff, and family members of the new students as well as other invitees.
In her address of welcome, Rector of the institution, Pauline Suleiman, represented by the Dean of studies of the College, Nanret Nandang, emphasized the importance of academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement describing NTA Television College as an institution of Scholars, Researchers, Innovators that will inspire the students academically.

“We gather today to mark an important milestone in the academic journey of our new students. As you begin this new chapter, I urge you to be open-minded, curious and passionate about learning.
“Our institution is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and personal growth.
“We encourage you to take advantage of the many resources and opportunities available to you, to engage with your peers and Department members, and to make good most of your time here,” she advised.
Suleiman, also told the matriculants that as they “navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, they should remember that they are part of a vibrant community of scholars, researchers, and innovators who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the world of scholarship.”
“Welcome to NTA College, Jos. We are excited to have you on board, and we look forward to seeing the great things you will achieve,” she added.
