As the PDP Presidential Aspirant, Peter Obi quits the Party, other Presidential Aspirants include, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; two former Senate Presidents, Bukola Saraki and Anyim Pius Anyim;
Others are Governors Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto); Nysom Wike (Rivers); Bala Mohammed (Bauchi); Emmanuel Udom (Akwa Ibom); businessman Mohammed Hayatu-Deen; former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose; Sam Ohunabunwa and Dele Momodu.
In the letter of his resignation, Peter Obi said, “recent developments” within the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), were responsible for his resignation from the opposition party and withdrawn from its Presidential Primary slated for end of May, 2022.
The Party lately thrown open its Presidential Ticket.
