Outgoing Managing Director of Kano State Housing Corporation, Nuraddeen Zubair, has recounted his success as the Chief Executive of the Corporation.
A statement issued by the Director Public Relations and Enlightenment, Muhammad Dahir Idris said, Zubair was speaking while handing over the mantle of leadership of the organisation to Dalhatu Yusif Dad in compliance with the directive of the State Government.
Zubair said, recently the Corporation supervised the construction of about 500 units of Houses tagged “Teachers’ Reserved Area” which was undertaken by Kano State Government in collaboration with Family Home, Abuja.
He added that the Corporation has upgraded its Shops along Zoo Road and Tarauni via what he called “Private Partnership Developers,” for revenue generation.
The outgoing Managing Director, however, explained that the administration of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has provided the Corporation with a piece of Land at Zara village for construction of Houses.
He also scored Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje high in the area of infrastructural Development across the State and attributed his success to the zeal and commitment of the Governor.
He expressed his profound gratitude to the entire staff of the Corporation for theirc toward his successful tenureand charged them to extend same to his successor.
Speaking shortly after receiving the mantle of leadership of the Corporation, the Legal Adviser and the Corporation’s Secretary , Barrister Dalhatu Yusif Dad, commended the former Managing Director for his outstanding performance and solicited the continued support of all and sundry in the organisation to enable him move the Company forward.
Others who spoke during the handing over ceremony include Director Physical Planing and Development Control Builder Misbahu Gana and Director Administration and General Services Mal Ahmad Abdullahi.
