Chairman, Jos South Local Government Council of Plateau State, Amb. Gideon Dandereng says, the will of God is to put Him first in what people do daily.
The Chairman gave the advice while speaking as a Guest during the Family-Week long (CCDP) programme organized by Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN) at Vom.
Amb. Dandereng emphasized that God is the only one that saves and called on believers to submit themselves to His will at all times.
Pastor of the Church, Rev. Dung Mandung, had earlier, in his sermon, warned girls to abstain from pre-marital sex saying the unholy behaviour had destroyed many homes.
“Don’t engage in sex before marriage. It is against the will of God.
“Many homes have been destroyed as a result of this. Wait for your marriage
and start a home,” he admonished.
Mandung, asked them to understand that the world cannot exist without a component unit of a family.
Our Correspondent reports that a sizeable audience attended the occasion which was held at COCIN Local Church Council (LCC) at Sot Vwang village located at Vom in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
