Report from Akwa Ibom State, South-South Nigeria says, the State Police Command has arrested three employees of an electric company for stealing electrical wires.
They were apprehended while unlawfully removing and concealing the electrical wire belonging to the company.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, says upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime.
The suspects, who are Excellent Victor, Favour Kpenu and Francis Amos, will be charged to Court upon completion of investigation.
The Commissioner of Police, Baba Mohammed Azare, reiterated the commitment of the command in upholding law and order, warning that criminal acts will not be condoned in any form.
