President Jong-Un Bans Three Premier League Teams From Being Shown In North Korea

President of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un, has reportedly banned Tottenham Hotspur’s games from being shown in the country.

According to the UK Sun, “Jong-Un does not want matches involving South Korean players to be televized.”

Spurs are captained by Son Heung-min.

This means Jong-un won’t be able to watch Tottenham host his favourite team Manchester United in a crunch clash on Saturday evening.

Coverage of the Premier League in North Korea last year did not include Wolverhampton Wanderers because of their South Korean forward, Hwang Hee-chan.

Brentford, who have defender Kim Ji-soo, were also not shown.

Match coverage in the secretive state is shortened from 90 minutes to 60.

And the fixtures are shown before news bulletins — and about four months after they are played. – DP
