Nigerian President Muhammad Buhari is expected in Kano State, Northwest Nigeria, on Monday the 30th of January to commission a number of developmental projects across the state.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of the state announced this while addressing the special delegate conference of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Kano.
He said the projects to be commissioned include the Muhammad Buhari road inter change project and the Multi Billion Naira Hydro Electric Power project in Tiga Dam.
The Tiga Dam project was started by the administration of Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
Others are the Dala Inland Dry Port at Zawachiki in Dawakin Kudu Local Government area of the state and the Kofar Mata Fly over which linked some major markets in Kano city.
While in Kano, Buhari, will also commission the Aliko Dangote Ultra Modern Skills Acquisition Centre.
Already, the governor explained, one thousand youths have been trained in auto mechanics out of which five hundred of the trainees will receive the President.
President Buhari will also commission the Kano Cancer Treatment Centre and the Kano Security Control Command Centre.
