President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA, and Sultan of Sokoto, Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar, has announced the commencement of Ramadan fasting in Nigeria tomorrow, the 23rd of March, 2023.
In a broadcast on NTA on Wednesday night, the Sultan said the crescent for the commencement of the Ramadan fasting has been sighted.
He, therefore, urged Muslims in the country to commence fasting on Thursday, March 23.
