Report from Cairo says, a Russian Passenger Plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Egypt on Friday shortly after takeoff due to a technical malfunction, according to Egypt’s Civil Aviation Ministry.
The Ural Airlines Airbus A-321, en route to Yekaterinburg, Russia, was carrying 236 Passengers when a technical issue arose in one of its engines just 10 minutes after takeoff from Sharm el-Sheikh Airport.

The Pilot “immediately requested emergency landing clearance from air traffic control,” the ministry said in a statement.
The plane landed safely, and all Passengers were securely transferred to the international terminal.
Expert teams have commenced an investigation into the malfunction and initiated necessary repairs, the ministry added. — Agencies via SG
