Salem University Lokoja, North Central Nigeria, has celebrated its founding Chancellor, Archbishop Sam Amaga on his 70th Birthday.
In a congratulatory message to the celebrant, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Alewo Johnson-Akubo, described Archbishop Sam Amaga as an “astute leader” and “Godsend” to this present generation.”
“On behalf of my family, Management, Staff and Students of Salem University, Lokoja, I wish our Chancellor and Spiritual Father, Archbishop Sam Amaga a very sound health, peace and joy as he celebrates his 70th birthday, Wednesday, March 15,” he wrote.
He appreciated God for “giving Nigeria and particularly Kogi State such an illustrious and industrious son and father in the person of Archbishop Sam Amaga.”
“Today being March 15, 2023, we in Salem University Lokoja, join Foundation Faith Church and other well wishers around the World to congratulate our visionary and founding Chancellor, Archbishop Sam Amaga on his 70th Birthday.

“This singular feat has indeed made our Chancellor a patriot and mentor, who has made significant contributions to the spiritual and educational growth and development of Nigeria,”

Johnson-Akubo added that nothing could be far from the truth that the Chancellor has done well in serving humanity and has left legacies that many generations would continue to remember and emulate.
