Saudi Government Appoints Imams For Two Holy Mosques At Makkah, Madinah

Report from Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia says, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, has issued an order to appoint four Imams at the Two Holy Mosques.

Head of the Presidency for Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais announced the development.

According to the royal order, Sheikh Badr Al-Turki and Sheikh Al-Waleed Al-Shamsan, were appointed as Imams of the Grand Mosque in Makkah while Sheikh Muhammad Barhaji and Sheikh Abdullah Al-Qarafi were appointed as imams at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. – SG
