A Jos based Islamic Scholar and Deputy Chief Imam of Fibre Mosque, Jos, Plateau State, Sheikh Auwal Danladi, has admonished believers to serve Allah With patience.
He gave the admonition on Friday while delivering sermon before leading congregation prayers.
Sheikh Danladi said a true believer (Mumin), should be patient in all conditions adding that Allah blesses those who are patient.
“Fear Allah always and obey His command. Be patient and have faith. Who has faith loses nothing but those without faith lose everything,” he said.
Danladi urged the faithful to remember that Allah created everything and nothing escape His notice adding that whatever happens to them should be taken as an act of Allah.
“Remember that there is the day of judgement, and it will surely come.
“Only good works are accepted by Allah, therefore, check yourself always in the things you do.
“Speak the truth always and draw the attention of people to their wrong doings that will not benefit them,” he admonished.
Drawing from the Holy Quran, the Imam said, “non of us is complete believer until we do to our neighbour what we want for ourselves.”
“Run away from committing sins. Restrain yourself no matter the temptation before you.
“Give thanks to Allah always knowing that He is perfect and distributes His resources according to His will,” he added.
