Report from Kano, North West Nigeria says, Hundreds of Members-elect from different geopolitical zones of the country have thrown their weight behind the candidacy of Member representing Biu/ Bayo/Shani Kwaya Kusar Federal Constituency, Muktar Aliyu Betara for the position of Speaker of the 10th National Assembly.
Our Correspondent reports that they made their position known during an interactive session with their colleagues held in kano on Tuesday.
Although, the new members-elect are from different political parties and geopolitical zones, they are, however, united on a common goal, which is unity, peace and economic prosperity in Nigeria and it’s people.
“This can be possible only when there is competent leadership that will provide platform for members to meet up with expectations of their constituents which we saw in the Member representing Biu/Bayo/Shani/ Kwaya Kusar Federal Constituency Mukhtar Aliyu Betara,” they agreed.
They promised to work for the success of Betara to become the speaker of the 10th National Assembly.
