Tarauni Charity Cup Football Competition Enters Quarter Finals

Tarauni Charity Cup football competition designed to expose talented youths in the area has entered the quarter finals stage.

The tournament is the first of its kind in Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State, North West Nigeria.

It is organized by football enthusiasts in the area.

The competition will not only expose talented youths for signing by professional clubs but, will also be used to find means of assisting orphans in the area and environs.

Nigerian Kicker Correspondent reports that out of the sixteen football clubs in the area that entered the competition, eight have been eliminated.

The remaining clubs will play the quarter finals commencing from Wednesday the 26th of February.

The clubs are Real Star FC, Legacy Academy FC, Mafo babies and Tarauni Babies FC.

The rest are Tarauni United, Rolling Stones FC, Lucky Boys Hotoro and Tarauni Super Stars FC.

Nigerian Kicker Correspondent reports that, in one of the matches decided Tuesday 25th February, Tarauni Super Stars FC defeated Samba Kawo FC by six goals to one to reach the quarter finals stage.

The competition is holding at the Football Field located at Tarauni Primary School along Wudil Road in Kano Municipality.
