In an efforts to increase security surveillance in Tofa Logal Government Area of Kano State, North-West Nigeria, Chairman of the Local Government Council, Alhaji Nafi’u Haruna Garba Yarimawa, has appointed over 200 Hunters to complement the security service of Vigilante Group in the area.
While personally inaugurating the appointees, Alhaji Yarimawa said they were committed to the security of lives and property of the people.
Alhaji Yarimawa expressed gratitude to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the Commissioner for Local Government for what he described as “providing peaceful atmosphere for an enduring co-existence of the people across the state.”
Responding on behalf of the appointees, Malam Jibrin Salisu thanked the Chairman of Tofa Local government Council for his vision in considering their services.
He assured the people that they were ready to work closely with other security agencies to maintain peace and order in the local government and its environs.
