Tarauni Babies football team has qualified for the finals of the unity cup for security agencies and the public in Kano, North West Nigeria.
The team defeated the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti Corruption Commission football team by three goals to nothing in the second semi finals played Saturday at the Ajidda football field in Tarauni, Kano metropolis.
The first goal for the Tarauni Babies was scored in the 25th minute of the first half while five minutes later Kabiru KBB increased the tally to two.
The third goal for the Tarauni team was scored by Habu Senior in the dying minutes of the match.
Our Correspondent also reports that the Tarauni Babies replaced the NDLEA football team who could not turn up for the competition.
The Tarauni Babies will now face the National Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) football team in the finals schedule for Friday the 21st of February.
