Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission Football team has qualified for the Semi finals of the Security/Public unity competition in Kano, North West Nigeria.
The team defeated the Kano State Nigeria Immigration Service football team by four goals to three in a penalty shoot out.
Nigerian Kicker Correspondent, who watched the match, reports that it ended in a one all draw.
The Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission Football team took the lead in about eleventh minutes of the first half while the Nigeria Immigration Service football team equalized in the dying minutes of the first half.
Both teams have lost so many scoring chances to enable them win the match in regulation time.
Following this victory, the Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission Football team will now face the NDLEA Football team in the second semi finals on Saturday the 15th of February.

The match was witnessed by the Kano State Comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Service, Bala Kabir Danja and Barrister Zaharaddeen Hamisu Kofar Mata who represented the Executive Chairman of the Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado.
The competition is being organized by a Non-governmental organization, Know Your Neighbor Community Development Initiative.
