Veteran Broadcaster, Kabiru Fagge Dies

A veteran Journalist, Alhaji Kabiru Fagge, has died.

Kabiru Fagge, reportedly died in United States of America.

He died at the age of 77.

The late broadcaster worked with the Hausa service of the Voice of America before he retired in 2014.

The seasoned journalist presented one of the popular programs at VOA titled ‘Ilimi Garkuwar Dam Adam’ and also presented news.

He had earlier worked with the Nigerian Television Authority, Kano for more than two decades before leaving for National Pilgrims Board where he left for America.

Kabiru Fagge was born in 1946 in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State, North West Nigeria.

He is survived by his wife, three children (two girls and a boy) and grandchildren.

His funeral prayer will take place on Saturday, December 16, at Prince George Muslim Association (PGMA).
