Kano State Governor, Abba Kabiru Yusuf has submitted the name of Baba Halilu Dantiye and 18 other nominees for the post of Commissioners to the State House of Assembly.
This was contained in a letter read by the Speaker of the House, Alhaji Isma’il Jibrin during a plenary session on Tuesday.
The Governor Yusuf is requesting approval of the House to appoint the nominees as Commissioners and members of the State Executive Council.
Dantiye is a former President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, former DG Kano Government House, former Permanent Secretary in Kano State Civil Service.
He is a Graduate of Cardiff University, UK. He is also a member of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos (mni). Dantiye also recently bagged national award of Member of the Order of Niger (MON).
