Warawa Local Govt Council In Kano State Vaccinates 10,000 Cattles

Report from Kano State, North West Nigeria says, Warawa Local Government Council in the state has lunched the 2023 cattle vaccination exercise.

A statement by the Information Officer of the Council, Salisu Kassim Yakasai quoted the Head of Natural Resource Department, Uba Sani Kabo as saying that, about 10,000 cattles are expected to be vaccinated in fifteen wards in the Local Government Area.

The statement said, the chairman Afcon Alhaji Alasan Yahaya Amarawa and the Muyetti Allah Malam Shehu Ali Danlasan as well as the Fuldan association, Shehu Kanwa, have promised to ensure success of the exercise.

The Council Chairman , Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi Danlasan said the exercise was aimed at improving cattle rearing in the area.

The Chairman, represented by the Vice chairman Alhaji Ibrahim A. Saidu Warawa called on farmers and Fulani Cattle Rearers to ensure the success of the exercise.

The officer in charging of the vaccination, Doctor Abdulrashid explained that the vaccination was meant to address the problem of stomach, cancer, liver and other diseases.
