Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Kano State, Mallam Ibrahim Khalil, says fairness and justice will be his watchword in the administration of the state if elected.
He gave the assurance in a door-to-door campaign which took him to parts of the State on Wednesday including the house of the Village Head of Tarauni, in Tarauni Local Government.
Khalil explained that what is missing in governance is the “ability of those entrusted with leadership to govern with the fear of Allah.”
He, therefore, called on the people of the State not to allow themselves be influenced by material benefits in the choice of who is to govern them.

The ADC Governorship Candidate said they should go for competence and credibility in their choices.
Mallam Khalil said if elected, civil servants and pensioners will be adequately taken care of.
Responding, the Village Head of Tarauni, Alhaji Nura Umar, thanked the Governorship Candidate for the visit.
He wished the candidate success in his endeavors and prayed Allah for a hitch-free elections in the state and the country at large.
Our Correspondent reports that the Governorship Candidate’s visit to the Village Head was the first of its kind to his house.
