Nigerian musical Star, Davido, has reminded Nigerians of the need to give genuine help to the needy in the society saying, “we rise by lifting others.”
He stated this through his Instagram page while giving an update over his promise of giving N250m as donation to orphanage homes in Nigeria.
“I bring you an update as promised. Since its inauguration for distribution, the members of the committee have worked tirelessly to ensure that they collate the names and information of the documented and verified orphanages across the country.
“So far, the total of N250m has been disbursed to 292 orphanages. I thought it wise to give you my loyal fans, friends and family an update in this regard,” the statement said.
He thanked everyone who made it possible.
Meanwhile, fans have taken to social media commending and thanking Davido for fulfilling his promise and helping orphans across the country.
