Managing Director, Kano State Housing Corporation, Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu, has felicitated civil servants in the state on Workers’ day for what he called “their dedication and commitment, hailing them as drivers of progress.”
While recognizing the invaluable contributions of the workforce to the development of the state, Alh Abdullahi Rabi’u also extolled Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his commitment to “prompt payment of salary” since his inception as Governor of Kano State, a gesture that is widely appreciated across the civil service community.
“As we mark 2025 Workers’ Day, we acknowledge the hard work and sacrifices of our public servants, especially among the staffers of the corporation who remain committed to excellence, even in challenging times” Rabiu noted.
The managing Director said the timely payment of salary stands as a reflection of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s commitment to workers’ rights and welfare across Kano State.
“As the nation observed workers day, I encourage all civil servants to remain committed, resolute, coherent, innovative, and service oriented towards continued transformation of Kano State,” the MD added.

Meanwile a statement by the Director Public Relations and Enlightenment of
Kano State Housing Corporation, Mohammed Dahiru Idris says, under the leadership of Abdullahi Rabiu, the Housing Corporation has evolved high standards of transparency, service delivery, and accountability, fostering trust and confidence among the staff.
The statement said, Staff of the Corporation have commended the managing Director for his continued gesture, describing it as a welcomed development.
