Kaduna State Government and Security Agencies have Refuted the story of attack on Kaduna-Abuja road.
The state Government, in a statement by the Ministry of internal security and home affairs, obtained by Nigerian Kicker says, as at 5:00PM on Wednesday 3rd July 2024) no such incident of either suicide attack or otherwise has happened on the Kaduna-Abuja Road and appealed to public to disregard such rumor circulating on the social media.
“The attention of the Security agencies and the Kaduna State Government has been drawn to reports being circulated, alleging the occurrence of a suicide attack or a similar incident along the Kaduna-Abuja Road,” the statement said.
The statement further reveals that Security forces and intelligence sources along the route are in constant touch with the Government and such an incident report is deemed erroneous.
“The security agencies deployed along the Kaduna-Abuja Road and in the general area will sustain monitoring and full engagement of all protocols towards the security of citizens and commuters,” the statement added.
