My Sons Threatens My Life – 64-Year-Old Man Cries Out

By Dooshinma Jose

A 64-year-old trader in Bauchi, Abdullahi Hassan has alerted the public over his own five sons allegedly threatening his life.

Hassan, a resident of the Kandahar area of Bauchi metropolis, who sells building materials at the Railway market in the Bauchi State capital, told journalists that the threat is allegedly being prompted by his ex-wife to terminate his life.

He said his problems with his children with his first wife, who he divorced six years ago, started when he parted ways with their mother.

According to him, he had to divorce their mother as the union was rancorous, adding that he opted out of the marriage to have his peace, unknown to him that it would lead to his own children wanting to send him to early grave.

He disclosed that he was catering for all his children, adding that he always ensured that their needs were met with good training.

He further stated that he made sure that the children, who had turned out to be his “tormentors-in-chief,” were educated, especially in Islamic education.

The save-my soul seeking father alleged that at the root of his problem is the mother of the children, who he said was conniving with them with a view to killing him in order to inherit his properties.

“I made sure I raised my children in the best mold of character humanly possible and catered for their necessities of survival out of what I earned from my business,” he said.

As a result of the battle he has been having with these five children, Hassan said he was now hypertensive.

He, however, sought help from the government and people to save him from untimely death by  his sons.
