Late Manasseh John

Death of a 300-Level Student of NTA Television College, Jos, Manasseh John, a.k.a, Daddy Melody has sent shock waves among the students, staff and management of the institution.
Our Correspondent reports that Manasseh John died on Sunday in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
He observed that his untimely death has shocked the college community and the entire Plateau State because of the deceased’s significant impact in the music industry in Plateau and beyond the shores of the State.
Daddy Melody was reportedly a committed student of the prestigious NTA Television College, Jos, and a prolific afrobeat star who has made a remarkable and indelible imprints in the music industry in Plateau State.
His prowess in weaving words to produce lyrics that are edifying and appealing to the human soul and spirit is one quality that gave him an edge over his contemporaries.
Daddy Melody was born on the 24th August 1993 and passed on, on the 24th of September after he had been ill for some times.
His course mates and other students who spoke to our correspondent said his death, “has created in us a mark which cannot be forgotten soon. ”
“Daddy Melody’s memory will continue to remain fresh and memorable,” they added.
Recall that Nigerian Kicker had reported on July 14th 2023 that Manasseh John, a.k.a, Daddy Melody, was on admission at Jos University Teaching Hospital and needed One Million Naira for proper treatment.
He was in 300-Level in the Department of Production before his demise.
Manasseh John, was involved in a fatal car accident in 2019 which affected his spinal cord and put him on wheelchair.
