AFCON: Nigeria Qualifies For Finals

Nigeria has qualified for the finals of this year’s Africa Cup of Nations.

In the Semi finals which was played Wednesday evening, Nigeria’s Super Eagles defeated the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a penalty shoot out by three goals to one.

The match had earlier ended in an all one draw while the thirty minutes extra time of fifteen minutes each half could not decide the winner.

The Super Eagles will now play Cote D’Ivoire who beat the Democratic Republic of Congo by a lone goal in the finals on Sunday February the 11th by 9pm

South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo are to battle it out for the third position on the same day at 6pm
