Bad Seed Germinates A Bigger Problem – Prof. Kamilu

Professor Kamilu Sani Fagge of the Department of Political Science, Bayero University, Kano, has advised Nigerians to be conscious of the people they elect to govern them.

The Political Scientist gave the advice in an interview he granted to a 300-Level-Student of NTA Television College, Jos, Dayong Nanshak Emmanuel, who is undergoing his Industrial Training at Freedom Radio, Kano, North West, Nigeria.

“For every good seed you sow, it will give birth to another good and for any bad seed you sow it will germinate and grow to become a big problem,” he said.

The erudite Professor, who had an exclusive interview with Nanshak on the postmortem (review) of the 2023 General Elections, tried to proffer solutions to challenges faced and how best to improve the electoral process in the country.

“We must have the sensitivity to entrust leadership in the hands of political actors with good characters, good score cards, competence and democratically oriented and enlightened.

“For a  nation to thrive, it boils down to the leadership of that nation, therefore, we must be conscious, deliberate and determine to elect leaders who have the operational efficiency to create capacities and values that will improve our lives and the potentials endowed in our youths,” Prof. Kamilu said.
