Founder/Publisher, Vanguard Newspapers Group, Uncle Sam Amuka says, the future of Journalism is Online.
The Veteran Journalist, gave the observation while addressing the gathering of members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors who converged on Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital for their 2023 Annual onference.
Amuka, who was the Chairman of the occasion, emphasised that the online future of journalism he was referring to was already here.

While reminding the Editors of their responsibility of holding government to account on behalf of the people, he urged them to beware of fake news which he said does not help the author and the intended victim.
Uncle Sam Amuka also reminded the Editors that “Editing is knowing what to leave out.”
He therefore advised them to always toe the path of telling the truth in the course of their duties.
