INEC Releases Performance Of Political Parties

Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has released the performances of the Political Parties in the 2023 National Assembly Elections.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmud Yakubu, announced this on Saturday at a News conference in Abuja

SENATE

1. APC –   57
2. APGA – 1
3. LP – 6
4. NNPP – 2
5. PDP – 29
6. SDP – 2
7. YPP – 1

REPRESENTATIVES

1. ADC – 2
2. APC – 162
3. APGA – 4
4. LP – 34
5. NNPP – 18
6. PDP – 102
7. SDP – 2
8. YPP – 1

Prof Mahmud Yakubu said supplementary elections will hold in 46 Constituencies across the nation.

He also disclosed that the Commission will improve on its performance in the March 11th Governorship and States Assembly Elections.
