Nigeria’s VP Shettima Leaves For Davos On Economic Forum

Nigeria’s Vice Pesident Kashim Shettima, has, on Sunday, left the country to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

He is expected to join other political and business leaders across the globe for the week-long meeting, which begins on January 15–19, 2024.

In a statement in Abuja, the vice president’s media aide, Stanley Nkwocha, said Shettima will co-chair the launch of the private sector action plan for the African Continental Free Trade Area, AfCTA.

He is also expected to hold high-level discussions with the Managing Director of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Makhtar Diop and the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, among others.
