Police Recruitment Board, has set aside the 8th of January for the commencement of screening of successful applicants into the constable cadre of the Nigeria Police Force.
A statement issued on Thursday by the Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, says at the close of the recruitment portal earlier in the month, 416-thousand, two hundred and seventy Nigerian Youths have satisfied the initial requirements for the next stage of the exercise.
The statement added that after the closure of the portal, Kaduna state top the list of successful applicants with 31-thousand, one hundred and seventeen.
Adamawa has 29-thousand, eight hundred and forty eight, Benue 25-thousand, three hundred and forty three and Borno has 24-thousand, eight hundred and fifty four.
Kano is seventh with 21- thousand and six while Anambra has the least successful applicants with one thousand, one hundred and forty one.
The Board advised candidates to be wary of fraudsters who will come with tempting promises to assist them adding that the exercise is free and will be based on performance at each stage of the exercise.
