In an effort to improve healthcare delivery, a Health Post was on Monday commissioned at Yarimawa Santar Dankaka community in Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State.
Chairman, Tofa Local Government Council, Alhaji Nafiu Haruna Garba Yarimawa said the health facility was built to enhance health services to the people of Tofa and Santar Dankaka communities.
He advised the beneficiaries of the health post to make use of the facility judiciously adding that the construction of the health post is a demonstration of Governor Gandunje’s commitment towards the development of healthcare delivery across the state.
Yarimawa, therefore, promised to continue to provide medical equipment in order to sustain the health post.
Our Correspondent reports that the Health Post would be maintained by Health Facility Committee established in the area.
Coordinator, Primary Healthcare, Comrade Nura Haruna Rimin Gado thanked the Chairman for his cooperation towards the success of the health post.
